How do you create a place during the international fair Intersolar where people don’t just stop by, but actually stay?
Together with MaxSolar, we further developed the Future Energy Summit as a standalone platform during a busy week packed with Intersolar-side-events – with a clear focus on meaningful exchange, visibility, and high-quality networking.

The Future Energy Summit was held for the first time in the conference spaces of a Munich hotel.

The Idea?
A distinctive event design that deliberately breaks with industry conventions: nature meets energy – with living birch trees throughout the space.
Our goal was to keep participants engaged on site throughout the entire day.
To support this, we designed lounges and distinct zones for networking, catering — and even quick calls in between.
Wayfinding & Orientation
As the venue was a little difficult to find, clear and consistent wayfinding was key. To strengthen the format’s recognisability, the existing event identity was deliberately retained at the client’s request and refined only in selected areas. Within the event space itself, however, the design was taken a clear step forward.
THE RESULT
A summit that stands out: the combination of expert exchange and innovative interactive formats created an energising atmosphere that engaged participants and fostered meaningful networking – a refreshing contrast to the traditional trade fair experience.
A format designed to make people stay, connect and engage – with consistently positive feedback. The Future Energy Summit has established itself as a high-quality meeting point for the energy industry and continues to evolve together with MaxSolar.
